Of Billionaires and Millionaires

I started this project to raise one billion dollars and give all the money away.  I was hoping that at least one billionaire would contribute to the cause.  I am in full realization of how difficult it is, but I will never give up.  I have to regroup, rethink, come up w/ a different plan.

Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg

Tonight I put my last posts on FBook and TwitterX.  I asked both Elon and "Zuck" how it feels to be told their money is no good.  That even if they offered me the 1 billion dollars for my painting "The Promise" I would not take it.

The Aesthetical Theory of Peace

So I normally upload art on Thursday nights.  So on this upload I wanted to posit, that maybe, there is an aesthetical theory that could change the world.  As opposed to religious theories, that don't seem to be working.

So here goes: I was in Israel in 1984.  I was walking around and saw Israelis and Palistinians walking about. I thought to myself, these Palestinians and Israelis are the most beautiful people on earth.  They are a beautiful race of all races.  How can these two most beautiful people hate each other so much?

TWITTER-X

Today I entered the world of Elon.  Establishing my "Twitter-X" account.   I was X before Twitter even existed.  I was X after reading "The Autobiography of Malcom X as Told to Alex Haley" back in the 80's.

Anyhow, Here's my first TwiX post:

The owners and employees of Twitter-X make billions of dollars by advocating (but never admitting to): violence; hate speech; white supremacy; christian nationalist supremacy, and misinformation.
The more inflammatory the rhetoric/narrative the more profit is made. The more shocking/disturbing (read click-bait) the misinformation, the more profit is made.
Misinformation increases extreme political views, contributing to escalating violence, gender violence, violence against minorities, hate crimes, and terrorist attacks.

Oil on Paper

Today I worked in my studio doing my favourite type of painting, oil on paper.  The paper and the oil paint work in conjunction to create a type of third world essence.  It is almost as if the paint and paper talk to me.  These abstract paintings are available on white paper.  I am about to enter many more onto "Serial Painter".

Art All Night, Pittsburgh

I am entering a piece into the famous "Art All Night" (AAN) show in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh.  I have attended all AAN shows since they started some years ago.  I have enjoyed and respected this show every year.  I have only ever submitted two pieces to AAN so far.   My first piece was entitled "3 Dimensional Flag for the Coming Revolution" which I submitted in 2019.

This year I am submitting a piece entitled "Anti-Fascist Homage to Federico Garcia Lorca"  which is based on the tragic story of one of my favourite poets.   I am submitting it with the hopes of generating a donation to AAN out of respect to this excellent event.  Any donation over $50.00 is the discounted asking price.

Beautiful Day To Upload Art

Beautiful, full sunny day in America's Most Livable City (Pittsburgh)!  Home of America's most famous artist (Andy Warhol). Good day to unpack and upload finished oil paintings onto my site. I'm aiming to photograph and upload all finished pieces in my Tractatus Logico Aesthetical series today.

Newest Project

A friend emailed me and asked "what are you working on right now?"  So I decided to upload my most current project that I am working on along with my many other serial works of art.  This current project is called "Found Photos."  I found most of these photographs at yard sales and flea markets.  I also find random items I put into some pieces. Some of these photographs I have had for 20 years or more.  Each photo in the piece is an original photograph.  I am going to upload all the pieces in this serial of works.  I can not sell/mail them as they are much too fragile to survive the package by mail process.  My hope is to have a show of these 25+ pieces at a gallery for purchase.

GOOD THOUGHTS ON A NEW YEAR

"I Believe no human is limited."

- Eliud Kipchoge (G.O.A.T/G.A.O.A.T.)

"We are our choices."

In all things, it is better to be optimistic than pessimistic. It is always better to be creative than destructive.
